Year 5 - Essex School Food and Farming Day

The Essex School Food and Farming Day is an annual event organised by the Essex Agricultural Society giving children in Essex the opportunity to get a better understanding of how their food is produced, the role played by farmers in Essex and the many related jobs within the industry.
The children went on a 'journey' through 5 zones; Food, Crops, Machinery, Livestock and Counryside and Environment. Each zone had exhibitiors with interaactive displays for them to watch, listen and get involved with.
