On Tuesday the 5th of July Year 3 took a trip around Maldon.

We learnt lots about Islam at the Mosque such as how they have a specially patterned carpet to face Mecca. At the Elim Pentecostal Church we met Reverend Robert Sefton who told us all about the food bank. We were also able to see where they store the food. At All Saints Church we got to have a go at bell ringing even Miss Ainscough had a go! We looked around the church looking for different artefacts, learnt about the vestments that priests wear and we were told about the connections the church has with America. We had a lovely time and all the children behaved impeccably.
