Maldon Mayor Assembly

During the assembly, Mr Lay spoke to the children about his important role as Mayor, explaining the responsibilities and duties that come with the position. He also shared fascinating details about the traditional regalia he wears, which was a highlight for the pupils.
After the assembly, Mr Lay spent some time with our school councillors and members of the Eco team, giving them an opportunity to learn more about local governance.
It was a wonderful experience for the children, and we are grateful to Councillor Lay for taking the time to visit Wentworth and inspire our pupils.
