The Lennox Children's Cancer Fund
On Tuesday, Jessica, a representative from The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, gave an assembly to the whole school to raise awareness and speak to the children about the work their charity does in supporting children with cancer.
For 30 years, The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, have been offering financial, emotional, practical and respite support for children and their families experiencing the trauma and heartache of a childhood cancer diagnosis as well as “We’ve Got Your Back” backpacks for children going through treatment and in hospital.
Jessica spoke to the children about being kind and demonstrated “The Toothpaste Challenge” which symbolises how once you say something unkind, it is irreversible, much like how you cannot put toothpaste back into the tube once it has been squeezed out.
