GROWING COMMUNITIES - PACKED LUNCH PLOT COMPETITION

Wentworth Primary School was runner-up in the Primary, Infant and Junior Schools of Essex category.
Mrs Nicholas went to Perrywood Garden Centre and Nurseries to collect equipment and plants for the school allotments.
She bought Hosepipes, garden canes, compost, strawberries, herbs, tomatoes and onions amongst other things.
These pictures are our allotments at the end of the 'Big Dig and Weed', and the help of the planters in years 3, 4 and 5 over the last few weeks.
