Green Blue Peter Badge
Callum heard on the radio that Harlow had planted a 1000 trees in a day. He asked his mum why they haven’t done this in Maldon and his she suggested he contacted the Mayor. He wrote to her suggesting Maldon do the same and volunteered Mrs Dack and Wentworth in the letter to help. He told Mrs Dack after sending the letter and of course she agreed. Mrs Dack arranged for the Mayor to come into the school to help the children plant the trees at the front. Callum helped the Mayor before lockdown to plant even more trees and he is hoping to plant more soon.
Callum’s family and everyone at Wentworth are very proud of what he has achieved and now he is also the very proud recipient of a Green Blue Peter badge for the environment.
